Last resort for getting a domain name!
Our Domain backorder service helps you attempt to acquire a domain when it becomes available
for registration. You can think of backorder like putting a reservation on a domain name!
So what is backorder?
Domain Backorders is a last resort for getting a domain name when all other options fail. By purchasing a domain backorder, we watch that domain nae to see if it ever becomes available. When it does, we attempt to register it on the the customer’s behalf.
Does a backorder guarantee domain registration?
No. The Domain backorder service doesn’t guarantee you’ll acquire a domain name. When you place a backorder, we attempt to acquire the domain name for you when it becomes available for registration. There are many reasons we might not be able to capture a backorder for you. If this happens, you can keep the backorder on the same domain to try again the next time it expires. Or, you can change your backorder to a different domain, at no cost to you.
Qualifying Domain Names
You can backorder any domain name under the top level domains: .COM, .CO, .INFO, .ORG, .NET, .ME, .MOBI, .US or .BIZ.
What is domain monitoring?
Domain backordering is a method to acquire a registered domain, and monitoring lets you know when a domain’s settings changes.
When is it appropriate for a backorder
When a customer is looking for a certain domain name, you want to check first to make sure that the domain isn’t obtainable by other means that have a better chance of capturing the domain.
